Prayer Reflections Week XXXI (Nov. 11-17, 2013)

Day 5: Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these others do? Yes, Lord, he said, you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, then "Take care of my lambs. (Jn 21:15-18)

  • It is true that we love God but still we are destructed of what d world offers.  Jesus wants us to be sure, given these calamities we have now, we are measured how we really LOVE God. Our willingness to serve and help those who are in need.   Vd prayer buddies.

Day 4: The group of believers was one in mind and heart. None of them said that any of their belongings were their own, but they all share with one another everything they had. With great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God poured rich blessings on them all. Acts 4:32-35

  • Oneness made us strong, made you feel the joy or pain, made you look around and inside of you with compassion, and made God to  activate and pour out His rich blessings on u. Be one in mind and heart as a group of believer, share your talent and be a blessing to everyone. -VD Prayer Buddies

Day 3: Go then to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples. Mt. 28:18-20

  • We have saved someone when we have taught him or her to pray, Christ wil have a new disciple when he or she, through prayer comes to know Him personally.... (Vd const. #40) Today we are reminded to live what we are called for, to dedicate our life to prayer and preaching so many wil be saved. -Vd Prayer Buddies

Day 2: "As he saw the crowd, his heart was filled with pity for them, because they were worried and helpless, like sheep w/out a shepherd" (Mt 9:36)

  • It pains our God to see the suffering of our bro n sis. He needs you now more than ever to be a shepherd to them by giving them what they need the most. The real food that gives life, the true drink that quenches their thirst, the light that gives hope, the love that secures. GIVE the WORD OF GOD and save lives. (VD Prayer buddies) pls pass...

Day 1: "It is not right for us to neglect the preaching of God's word in order to handle finances. We ourselves, then, will give our full time to prayer and the work of preaching." (Acts 6:3-4)

  • The apostles have chosen the best part, praying and preaching the word of God and even doing it full time. There is so much life in the word of God! Do we recognize it? Do we intend to preach in our simple way everyday or we just consumed with our financial concerns? -VD Prayer Buddies
