Prayer Reflections Week XVIII (Aug. 12-18, 2013)

Day 4: "When Jesus saw the large crowd, his heart was filled with pity for them." Mat. 14:14

  • Jesus is always looking at us with great mercy and compassion in spite of our stubbornness and ignorance of him, he never loses hope and confident that someday we will gradually learn from his ways. Like Jesus, do we feel compassion towards our superior, co-workers, children, spouse? - VD Prayer Buddies

Day 3: I am the vine, you are my branches,...those who remains in me and I in them will bear much fruit...Jn. 15:5

  • It is essential in our discipleship the strong connection we have with the source and that is Christ. We are nothing without him. It is only through him that we can find faith and perseverance to enjoy the fruits of mission. Just hang on to Jesus. He will not fail you. - Vd Prayer Buddies

Day 2: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor." Lk. 4:18

  • We are all chosen by God to bring Hope in the life of others in the manner that we dealt and communicate with our brethren. a simple smile, a sincere listening and a soft voice of inspiration may give them  courage to persevere in life with God. Give Hope, Give Life... Share the Good news -VD Prayer Buddies

Day 1:"And now I give you à new commandment, love one another as I have loved you, you must love. one another. Jn. 13:34

  • This very basic commandment of Christ is the very first step in Our mission to share His love-life to others without discrimination. Just we are fruits of other disciples following this commandment, let us also do the same to the people w/in our reach. - VD Prayer Buddies
