Prayer Reflections Week VI (May 20-26,2013)

Day7: "We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance brings God's approval, and his approval creates hope. This Hope does not disappoint us for God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the holy spirit." - Romans 5:3-5
  • Our hope is that the holy spirit is God's promise that we will always belong to him. He will not leave us alone in trouble, but teach us to endure with him. Go to him when you're in trouble. He loves you still and never changes his gaze of trust on you. even when we stumble, he'll be the sure hope that will never let you down - VD Prayer Buddies

Day 5:  Gal. 5: 22-23 "But the spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control"

  • WORDS EXPOSED:      Sir.1:1-10; Mk.9:14-29)(   From Feb.13, 2013 (Ash Wednesday) to (Pentecost), we went thru the passiƶn, death, resurrection, ascension of Christ & the descent of the Holy Spirit - the central mysteries of our Faith. Now we go to the part of the Church Calendar called Ordinary Time, the time to apply our Faith to the ordinary days of our life. In the Gospel of Mark, a father with weak faith asks Christ to heal his son. Christ tells him, "Everything is possible to one who has faith."  The father says, "I do believe, help my unbelief!" With this simple prayer, Christ miraculously heals his son. We're still in the Year of Faith until Nov.24, 2013, the end of OrdinaryTime, as Proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI. Need a miracle? Spend more in deepening your faith. Yes, everything is possible to him who truly believes! Amen! - Celia
Day 1: Good Morning!!!  "The spirit  comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead u into all the truth"  - Jn16:12-15
  • Today we may experience confusion, doubts, trials and problems along the way but God reminds us of the presence of the holy spirit within us that will always lead us to the Truth. Only in prayer, in the silence of our heart we can hear clearly the voice of Truth. Follow the Truth for it will set you free. -VD prayer buddies
